On the topic of live action films from my last post. Where Mortal Kombat is being retold as a webseries. I stumbled upon this short on Youtube.
It is entitled: "Fight the Foot". It shows Raphael taking down some baddies and a couple really coold shots of the costume used. This is apparently a fan film. And it looks great. If you're ever bored or need a few minutes of some entertainment to pacify your nerd urges. Swing by YouTube and do a search for fan films. There is a lot of great talent out there trying to show the world their spin on their favorite stories and characters. And for me a lot of the charm is in the fact that these folks don't have huge budgets and are often very limited with special effects, so they try to shine with originality. So do them a favor and show your support for the amateur film makers. Who knows, they could be the next Spielberg or JJ Abrams.
