GNOME 2 Has Been Forked!

Yay!  For those of us who have been less than thrilled with Unity and it's inclusion in the latest Ubuntu release, guess what?!  GNOME 2 has been forked into 'Mate'.  Currently it is only packaged for Arch Linux.  But it is out there!
